• ANIMAL LOVER
Malcolm has always been an animal lover. Growing up on a working farm all through his childhood probably influenced his devotion to animals. It has been his dream since he was eight to be a vet and he's now living out that childhood dream. He has a gift with animals, always has. He has a unique connection with horses in particular. Sure he likes the cute furry animals but horsesare his specialty. He never had horses growing up, his parents raised cattle mostly, but once he rode for the first time he was hooked. That's when he knew that he would specialize in equine medicine.
• OPTIMISTIC
Malcolm is always looking for the bright side to everything. He can be exposed to the worst situation possible and be perfectly ok with it. He, a practicing christian, has always lived up to the idea that God has a plan for everyone and everything happens for a reason. Therefor he never gets angry when things are bad, he simply takes it as is. He knows that evrything will work out for the best in the end, no matter what.
• FATHERLY
Malcolm is the type of guy who will be there for you whenever you need him. Honestly, everyone sees him as a father figure. Not only to his own daughter, Maggie, but to everyone in town. He's protective of his family, but he's just a protective of everyone he knows. That's pretty much everyone in town with a pet. He will always ask how your animals are when he sees you and personally reminds owners when there pet is due for an appointment. He's just alway looking out for everyone else. He finds that the younger crowd in town looks up to him n that fatherly way a ton. They are just moving away from home and sometimes get themselves into trouble. Malcolm is always there when a hand is needed. Heck, he's even been called to the police station to pick up one of the kids from town, that's how much they look up to him.
• EASY GOING
Malcolm is one of the most laid back and easy going people you'll ever meet. He's almost always in a good mood which usually rubs off on everyone around him. You an't help but be happy around him. He hardly ever gets mad about anything, just ask his daughter Maggie. She could tell him that she got pregnant and he probably wouldn't react too badly. Sure, he'd be disappointed but its her life, not his. That's how he sees everything. Everyone has to live their own life, he's not here to live it for them and tell them what to do.

Malcolm is always being approached when someone needs someone to talk to. He's one of those people who you can really relate to. He's higly personable and is always ready to listen. It always seems like he truely understands. This especially comes ino play in the workplace. He absolutely hates being the bearer of bad news but that comes with his profession. When someoe loses a pet he offers himself to them if they need it. He'll meet with them and try to help them through the grief, he always knows the rigt thing to say.

• CHILDHOOD
Malcolm was born into a less than wealthy family. He was born and raised in central Pennsylvania on a dairy farm. He was the oldest of two children. From day one his parents knew he would grow up to work with animals. Malcolm always did his part around the farm and never complained. He did his chores willingly and would spend the rest of his day outside with the animals. He had a dog growing up named Tanner who he always concidered his first best friend.
• HIGHSCHOOL
When Malcolm hit highschool nothing really changed. His first job was at a local vet office sorting files and sweeping floors. He lovedevery minute of it. His junior year girlfriend was the one who really introduced him to horses. She was a hunter/jumper rider who's parents ran a facility just down the road from the highschool. She gave Malcolm his first riding lesson and from then on he was hooked. He found himself at her house nearly everyday after work. He was always enthusiastic about learning somethin nw with each mount they put him on. After the pair broke up in their early senior year, Malcolm found a local barn that taught western lessons and began riding their.
• COLLEGE
After graduating highschool with honors, Malcolm attended Pennsylvania State University. He studied in their pre-vet program and loved every minute of it. During his last year in the program he met Jemma. They instantly had chemistry, no literally, they met in a chemistry class. They instantly hit it off and became best friends. They did everything together. However, their friendship soon blossomed into a relationship. Malcolm had definatly found his soul-mate, however, he wasn't planning on proposing so soon. It was only after they realized that they conceived a child that he popped the question. He didn't do it because he felt guilty, no, he did it because he loved her and wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. He was glad that she felt the exact same way. Malcolm went on to Vet school and eventually gained his certificate at age twent five.
• RECENT HISTORY
After finishing their schooling, it was time for the Walkers to stake their claim and settle down nd live their lives. Malcolm's grandparents lived in Foxtail Ridge and he had always enjoyed going to visit during his youth. When the local vet clinic shut its doors, Malcolm bought the building and converted it into the ultimate animal hospital. He added on a barn for his equine patients and a new kennel for te canines. It seemed like everything was falling into place. He has his family and his business, life couldn't get any better. He's also found a love in rescue and takes in horses when he can and rehibilitates them and finds them loving new homes.
