and i've never been the girl to follow the crowd,
It had simply been one of those days, one when you are convinced you should never have bothered to get out of bed and face the world. Erin had spent most of the morning and afternoon arguing with her family, mainly over the same old subjects of failing to go to college this year, her attitude towards things and her late night adventures. but it always ended in the same way, with Erin storming out and then her father listing around 30 missed calls on her cell phone trying to track her down and have her back home. but Erin had done her usual trick of taking her sisters car and hiding down at the yard out of the way.
She wasn't dressed for the yard. a blue fitted strapped dress, quite short, with a blue checked mans shirt open over the top with a navy blue long knitted cardigan reaching her knees. her blonde hair loose around her face and chest in her trademark gentle curls. a necklace pendant over her chest and some heeled aviator boots with a sheepskin overturn. ever the fashionista she never dressed as others would, but she did adore fashion and it was probably something she would decide to do at some point in her future.
She'd been at the yard for a good amount of time, and had turned her naughty pony out. his grey coat was covered in a middleweight neckless rug as he bombed around his pasture, kicking and squealing, running at the other horses and rounding them up asserting his dominance as alpha male in the group. she lent against the fence, hands crossed infront of her, eyes focusing to the distance. she wasn't ready to head back home yet, infact, she really couldn't be bothered. she instead wanted to have fun, like anyone her age.
Her mascaraed and eye-lined eyes looked gently down at her hands, rosey pink cheek bones sparkling gently. a soft muzzle pressed against her shoulder and she smiled, bringing a hand up to cup around the ponies thick head. "hey baby boy." she said gently, pushing his head away as he nipped at her shoulders. he was an awkward pony, quite intolerant of anything and anyone, but he loved his human more than anything else put infront of him. "least i have you eh?" she grumbled, pulling his top lip up before laughing as he turned it up, sticking it in the air along with his head. her head tilted to the side, eyes watching her beautiful pride and joy as he pricked his ears at the direction of the gate that was feet from them both.
